Most people open Cowork and just start typing.

That's the mistake.

Without the right setup, Claude doesn't know who you are, how you think, or what you're trying to build. Every session, you're starting over. Every output, it sounds like a stranger wrote it.

Do this first. Do it once. Then watch the difference.

How to access Claude Cowork:

1. Go to claude.com/download. Download the app on your computer.
2. You must have a Pro account (atleast $20/month).
3. Open the app. Click on the Cowork tab at the top between Chat & Code.
4. Select a folder from your computer. More about it right after this set up.
5. Make sure to always select “Opus 4.7” for complex tasks. It’s the smart model.

Here’s how I set this up.

1. Create a new folder on your computer named Claude Cowork.
2. Copy this folder structure: 3 subfolders inside the Claude Cowork.
3. (1) ABOUT ME (2) OUTPUTS (3) TEMPLATES.
